Airdrop if you do not see in your Finder is possible that your Mac:

supports the following Mac models:

  • MacBook Pro (Late 2008 or newer)
  • MacBook Air (Late 2010 or newer)
  • MacBook (Late 2008 or newer)
  • iMac (Early 2009 or newer)
  • Mac mini (Mid 2010 or newer)
  • Mac Pro (Early 2009 with AirPort Extreme card, or Mid 2010)
Airdrop Technology, in fact, operates on the 5GHz frequency for which you need a WiFi card (or AirPort if you prefer) but with a chip that supports both the classical connection(technically known as infrastructure) and the Ad Hoc connection (ie the that creates a WiFi network between different users without a real point of access).
but if you have a Mac to use this guide how to use Airdrop
