How to speed up on older Mac OS X Lion

On August 24, 2011, in LION, by admin

OS X Lion is an operating system full of animations and graphic effects, but because of this, on older Macs, you notice some jerky movements of the windows and the effects themselves, even if you do not see then additional delays. If you too havenoticed these small problems and want to speed Lion, then follow this simple step.

All you have to do is open Terminal (found in Applications / Utilities) and type thefollowing string:

defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSAutomaticWindowAnimationsEnabled -bool NO

After making this change and close all ripaprite app. To restore all the graphicsyou have to type the same string in the terminal, replacing “NO” with “YES”.
