EA and TransGaming have announced the porting of FIFA 2012 was made using the Cider engine, which takes care of translating the code to run it,Windows on the Mac (this is allowed by the hardware such as Intel, for example) .

FIFA 2012 is a major change with the new engine Impact Player Engine, which gives the game a more accurate physical, such as contacts between players of the game, including injuries, and the style in which players in the real ”treat” the ball. Also new in this version is Precision Dribbling, dribblingaccuracy that allows you to handle the ball with more dexterity, especially inconfined spaces or when you are trying to control the pace of the game.

Even in defense the game has been greatly improved. Now you can plan a better defensive strategy by establishing whether their players should give more importance to the contrast with the opponent to intercept the ball orgroped.

The new AI is helping computer-controlled players to make decisions basedon the attitudes, characteristics and weaknesses of opponents.

The system requirements are: Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later, Intel Core 2 Duo processor or higher, 4GB RAM, ATI HD2600 or Nvidia GeForce 9400M or better with at least 256 MB of VRAM.

FIFA 2012 is available as a download for $ 40 at GameTree Mac
