Few hours ago an update was released for untethered jailbreak redsn0w 0.9.10b2 ios 5.0.1.

This update is needed to solve various problems with iTunes error.

Re-run the new version of redsn0w jailbreak mode on your current iPhone OS 5.0.1 already jailbroken (even PwnageTool), taking care to de-select “Install Cydia”. Always make sure to do a reboot and then turn off your device before running redsn0w.

I have not tested so always proceed with caution:

it works!
but it seems there are problems while adding sources to Cydia
i’m not sure about that,still working…

Im on 4.3.3 trying to update and getting error 21, if put it in DFU mode and retore from orignal 5.0.1 in get error 1600, cant F-ing win with this, never had an issue with JB’s before

Didnt work error reports interupt redsn0w during the process of jailbreaking
at least thats what is happening for me

Ive been running my ipod touch 4g on ios 4.3.3 since August 2011. i have been trying to update to 5.0 or 5.o1 but have not been able to do so via itunes or transfer of the ipsw, various error messages have come up such as 21, 3004 and 3194 and im unable to restore. please help

I have a iPhone 4 with 4.3.3 and am also getting various iTunes error messages and am unable to update to 5.0.1 even with the official Apple IPWS ( I have tried custom as well).
